Bright, indirect light for half a day will give the best results. Avoid direct, afternoon light which can burn the flowers. Longest life will be obtained at 60 to 65 degrees F. Avoid placing by anything that gives off heat. Keep soil moist but not wet. Do not let your mum stand in water for more than a couple of hours.

Moderately moist soil is preferred. Water thoroughly when the soil surface is dry to the touch. Bottom watering is the best but do not allow the plants to stand in water. Indirect or bright diffused light is the best. Cyclamen prefer 60-70 degree F. days and 55-65 degree F. nights.

Oxalis

Oxalis

Oxalis plants prefer direct sun for best growth and flowering. They will usually bloom all winter if placed in a bright window. Oxalis does well in soil that is barely moist and will do fine if the soil dries between waterings. Fertilize the plants with any all purpose fertilizer when they are actively growing.

Place in a bright location. Avoid full sunlight, but keep near a sunny window. Avoid midday sun if grown outdoors. Keep soil uniformly moist at all times. Never allow soil to dry out. Hydrangeas need a lot of water. Moderate home temperatures are ideal. Avoid excessively hot or cold areas.

A charming miniature version of the traditional garden favorite. These plants need bright light. Place in a sunny spot. Keep soil evenly moist throughout growing, and water less during winter. Fertilize monthly with a balanced liquid feed. Keep in a cool spot if possible.

New Guinea Basket

Large, bright blooms contrast well against variegated or dark foliage. Prefers full sun to partial shade. Bright light if grown indoors. Do not let stand in water. Generally hardy to 32 degrees F. Keep soil moist but not soaking wet. Do not let your New Guinea wilt.
